Location At the north end of the small Sonoma Coast village of Bodega Bay lies Branscomb's Bodega Bay Inn - just off Highway One at Eastshore Road. Eastshore leads to the Spud Point Marina, the University of California's Marine Research Laboratory, and view sites captured in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds". The road ends at Campbell Cove, where some say Sir Francis Drake landed to repair his ship, the Golden Hind in June of 1579. We, at the Inn, rightly assume that Drake walked up the hill from the Cove to the present site of our Inn, lay down, and took a nap: thus, our claim, "Drake slept here!" Cancellation Policy We are a family owned business and rely on our advance bookings ; therefore, (a) a one day's charge is required as a deposit when a reservation is made; (b) a 10 day notice is needed for a refund of the one day's deposit; (c) rooms which have been reserved but are cancelled within the 10 day period will be charged unless the room is rerented; (d) failure to appear (no shows) are charged in full; (e) early check-out (leaving prior to your reserved departure date) will be charged; and (e) all cancellations are subject to a $25 charge.
