Info@KaleidoscopeInn.com Kaleidoscope Inn History The Kaleidoscope Inn was constructed of redwood in 1887 by retired rancher Vitalis Runels. In 1902, Joseph & Todie Dana (of the historic California Dana family) bought the home. It remained in the Dana family until the 1960's. From the 1960's until 1987, the home was used as an antique store and a private residence. In 1987, Bill and Patty Linane lovingly restored the home and gardens and began operating the Bed and Breakfast as well as hosting weddings, receptions, and other special events in the gardens. In early 2002, Kevin Beauchamp and Carolayne Holley Beauchamp purchased the Inn and have been busy spending their free time working in the gardens ever since! The Kaleidoscope Inn . Each window of the house is bordered in stained glass. This glass creates a "kaleidoscope" effect as sunlight streams into the home.
