Because of the inn's downtown location, and the quiet friendly atmosphere, businessmen and businesswomen comprise half the inn's guests each year. Of these, four are two-room gallery suites named for famous painters of bygone days (Audubon, Calder, Remington and Rockwell) and showing selected examples of their work. There are 10 double rooms. All are individually decorated with period antiques and have private baths, direct dial telephones, writing desks, data lines, piped in chamber music, fresh flowers and growing plants.
