"This Florida Bed & Breakfast is located on the very northern tip of tropical Pine Island, in our own little world far removed from the "new" Florida of high-rises and traffic congestion. The only "high-rises" are the palm trees, and the only "commuters" are the migratory birds. Pine Island, on Florida's Gulf Coast, is accessible by car. You will enjoy the relaxed pace and warm hospitality of our Bed & Breakfast Inn, along with Bokeelia's several fine restaurants and small artsy shops. Don't forget, Ft. Myers many attractions are not far. The Inn has been lovingly restored and includes its original fireplace and heart of pine floors. Relax while viewing the panorama of Charlotte Harbor, wake to an expanded tropical breakfast, take to the water for some of the finest tarpon fishing in Florida, go golfing nearby, and enjoy evening cocktails and hors d'oevres under lavender sunsets. FISHING IN THE "TARPON CAPITOL OF THE WORLD" Pine Island Sound, Boca Grande Pass, and the Gulf of Mexico can be reached by boat in 15 minutes or less. The fishing opportunities are almost unlimited. Deep-water fishing for grouper, tarpon, shark, or redfish and snook in Charlotte Harbor, accessible from the Inn's private dock and ramp . WEDDINGS The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn is the perfect setting for weddings , from small intimate gatherings to guest lists of ninety. Choose a fountain, upper-porch, or harbor side setting at sunset. We can provide for all your wedding needs. The large screened in second-story porch at the Bokeelia Tarpon Inn, with its sweeping view of Charlotte Harbor and Gasparilla Island (Boca Grande) to the north is a perfect place to let the world go by. It's a great retreat." |
