Driving
Directions: DIRECTIONS FROM INTERSECTION HWY 69 & HWY 54
*Stay on Hwy 69: Turn West on 6th Street, drive two blocks up the hill to National
*Turn left (South) on National
*Pass 7th Street and as you approach 8th Street pull to the right:
The Twin Mansions on the Prairie stand majestically inside an iron fence on the northwest corner of 8th & National. Lyons' Mansion is the north home (NOT the corner home)
Look for the copper lions on the front steps and marble columns adorning the front porch.
And a big sign with our name on it!
PARKING: Off street parking is directly behind the Mansion. There is a sign at the Judson Street entrance. Pull up as close to the back door as you can & come right on in. We will be looking for you!

The river runs through our 135-acre park with lakes, shelter houses, playground, bird & bunny exhibit.
Victorian downtown contiguous to the fort has antiques, gifts, an Art Gallery and places to eat.
