The Brewster Inn is located in Dexter, Maine which is less than an hour's drive to Bangor,or the beautiful Moosehead Lake and Mt Katahdin region of Maine. The Inn is perfect for special events, parties and weddings. We also offer the Inn as facility space for corporate meetings and group retreats of all kinds.

The Brewster Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a former Maine Governor and Government Senators family home. A portrayal of this family is seen in the Golden Globe award winning movie "The Aviator" starring Leonardo De Caprio (as Howard Hughes) and Alan Alda (as senator Ralph Owen Brewster). We are proud to be part of such fascinating history!

Our home was shown on TV across the USA on HGTV in June 2008! We were featured on a segment of "If Walls Could Talk"

Driving Directions: We're just 20 minutes off I95 Take Exit 157 from I95. From South go left at exit and follow Rt 7 to Dexter (about 12 miles). Turn left at traffic light in Dexter and go down Main St. At the end of Main St where the road seperates, take the road right up Zion's Hill and we're Number 37 Zions Hill Rd at the top of the hill on the right.

Onsite Activities: Peace quiet and tranquility is what you get at the Brewster Inn. Our 9 guest rooms range from expansive to cozy, and each offers a distinct personality. Some feature Kingsize beds, fireplaces, original wood paneling, window seats and original tile bathrooms. Others offer a view of the gardens or a whirlpool bath for two. One handicapped accessible guestroom is also available. All guest rooms have their own bathrooms, 26 and 32" LCD HD cable TV, AC in season and their own independant heating controls, wi-fi, luxury bathrobes and towels as well as in-room DVD players with movies all available for you to enjoy. We also encourage you to take advantage of our large living room, expansive gardens, screen porch and patio for relaxation, reading, conversation or just watching the world go by. The dining room is a great space for writing or playing board games The Brewster Inn welcomes children of all ages. There is also a big and very unique childrens playground right behind our property. We partner with a local spa to offer spa treatments and massage either here at the Inn or at the spa. We also can offer 24hr gym memberships at Millside Fitness in Dexter for just $5 a day.
