The bed & breakfast is graced with carved mantels, fireplaces, period antiques, reproductions, and collectibles. For example, Betty displays her large collection of dolls throughout the house. There is a game room in which you'll find a traditional billiards table plus nooks for board games, including a chess set with Civil War characters. The four uniquely decorated guest rooms are spacious, each with air conditioning, TV, sitting area and private bath. Begin your day with freshly brewed coffee or tea. Indulge in a full country breakfast featuring home-baked breads, fresh juices, fruit, yogurt, granola, and sumptuous casseroles. Guests can relax on the wrap-around porch or garden patio, enjoy the game room, or leisurely stroll to the center of downtown Frederick's charming historic district to visit the shops, museums, local events, and numerous restaurants.
