Seal tours and Audubon trips to Monomoy Island are readily available. Chatham serves as a centralized base for exploring all of Cape Cod from Provincetown to Sandwich. The Truro Vineyards, one the last remaining vineyards on Cape Cod, provide a relaxing old world experience. There are ferries that are convenient for day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Breakfast each day consists of a fresh fruit salad, granola, yogurt, an assortment of cereals, a bread basket with bagels, toast and English muffins, gourment teas and coffees, one of Judy's fresh baked specialties, and a fresh prepared entree. |
Driving
Directions: From Boston: Take route 3 (also designated route 93)south out of Boston approximately 9 miles. At the major fork in the road stay left, and follow the signs for route 3 Cape Cod. Stay on this road for approximately 50 miles. Follow signs to route 6 and Hyannis. Go over the Sagamore Bridge and the road becomes route 6. Stay on route 6 approximately 37 miles to exit 11, which is route 137. Approach route 137 and take a left at the stop sign. This is route 137 south. Stay on route 137 south about three miles. You will go through a working set of traffic lights, and a four way stop. Continue on straight after the four way stop another mile to the end of route 137. At the stop sign take a left onto route 28 south. Stay on 28 about 3 miles to a very small rotary (round about). At the rotary route 28 takes a left hand turn, but you have to go three quarters around to do this. You are now on Old Harbor Road.
