"Blue Gateways, located in the heart of Wellfleet, is a beautifully restored house built c. 1712 and listed on the National Register of Historic Houses. Blue Gateways has been known for fine lodging since the 1940's. Its resident innkeepers are Richard and Bonnie Robicheau. There are three guest rooms located on the second floor, each with a private bath and furnished with family antiques. Next to the bedrooms is a common area with game table and butler's pantry complete with microwave and refrigerator. Downstairs is a sunny all-seasons porch where continental breakfast is served featuring Bonnie's homemade granola, baked goodies and much more. There are built-in couches on the sun porch perfect for relaxing, reading, or watching the busy bird feeders. The sun porch is also equipped with cable TV and a VCR. On warm sunny days the backyard is wonderful for lounging, lunching, or relaxing by the ornamental goldfish pond. Blue Gateways is a perfect spot for family gatherings or small reunions.
