Only 20-25 minutes from Downtown Boston by T light rail, the Park Lane is just west of the city in tree-lined Newton. Built in 1910, the Baronial style stucco is a 7 minute walk to the "D" Green line stop at Newton Centre, abundant with shops and restaurants. It is also in close proximity to many area colleges and universities.
Guests may relax in the first floor sitting room or the lovely front porch, weather permitting. A generous continental breakfast is served in the breakfast nook. Your hosts will acquaint you with the area tourist attractions and directions, either by road or public transportation. There's even an exercise room to work off all the food Boston offers.
If you enjoy bicycling, bring your bikes with you. We'd love to show you some good routes and may even ride along with you! There is a fifteen year old at home.
