Circa 1812 - This prominent 3-story Italianate Revival towers over upper Main Street of historic downtown Southbridge, a town rich in history and architecture. The Krach family takes pride in offering cordial hospitality to guests wishing to find a home away. Each affectionately appointed Estate sized guest suites is equipped with full private bath, separate living room areas with breakfast table & complimentary toiletries. This home was truly rescued and is listed on the National Historic Register. It was originally fully restored in 2001 to become a Butler School� for neighboring Connecticut clients, the contract dissolved and Chef Krach was hired to find a buyer but bought it for them selves! The family operates a full-service European restaurant on premise with room service. Impressive period antiques & authentically refreshing decor of Austria, Switzerland & Germany makes this a truly romantic destination. Complimentary full breakfast to all guests served in the dining room, or if you prefer, in your bedroom. During summer months we invite you to read on our front porch or outside patio with fireplace - great for a late night beverage. In winter months, relax or meet friends in our cozy parlor room by the original wood burning fireplace and a triple hardwood floor of Chestnut, Oak & Cherry. All rooms are air-conditioned with cable TV

Hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 5-10 p.m. Or book Private Parties available any time or day of the week for 6 or more.

Driving Directions: Directions from Boston: Take Mass Pike West (I-90) to Exit # 9 (Sturbridge) to I- 84 West (you will automatically be on it after the pay toll) for only one exit, take exit # 2 (Southbridge/Sturbridge). At the end of exit ramp take a left and another quick left bringing you over the highway. Go straight thru the intersection onto River Road. (you will pass Hebert Candies on your left) Follow for 1.3 miles and take a left the 4-way intersection. This road turns into South Street, follow it for 4.3 miles, just before the light at the end of the street you will see the driveway for Vienna on the left. Directions from Hartford: Take I- 84 West to Exit # 1, turn right then a quick left just after the Gas station onto Mashapaug Rd. The road will wind for approximately 4.5 miles turning automatically turning into South Street. Just before the light at the end of the street you will see the driveway for Vienna on the left. Directions from Providence: Off Route 146 take the Douglas Exit to Route 16 West into Webster -it will automatically turn into 197 West, just over the Connecticut border, Take a right onto Route 131 and follow thru the center of Southbridge. At Brooks Drugs there will be two very close lights, you should be able to see Vienna straight ahead on the corner of South Street. Take a left onto South and a quick right into our driveway.
