Driving
Directions: If you are coming from Minneapolis/St. Paul the best route is to take Highway 169 to St. Peter. Go through St. Peter and on the south side of town you will come to State
Highway 99. Turn right onto Highway 99 and it will take you through the country to the small town of Nicollet. After going through Nicollet, Highway 99 merges with U.S. 14. Turn right at the stop sign. Follow Highway 14 through the town of Courtland. Approximately 5 miles after you leave Courtland, you will pass Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School (it will be on your right). After passing the school, a short distance down the road is a sign indicating that to reach New Ulm you should turn left on County Road 37. Turn left on 37 and continue on this road until after you cross some railroad tracks and then come to a stop and go light. This street is Broadway Street. Turn right. You will see that the cross streets are numbered numerically…15th Street South, 14th Street South, etc. When you come to 4th Street South, turn right. Go two blocks (you will cross Minnesota Street). At the second corner you will be at German Street. Turn right. We are the house next to the corner house on the right. There is a small sign in the front yard indicating that it is the Deutsche Strasse B&B. |
