TYAX Mountain Lake Resort  

"A wilderness resort nestled on the shores of Tyax Lake, located 5 hours north of Vancouver and 2.5 hours west of Cache Creek. Accommodations in main log lodge or log chalets on the beach. Activities include horseback riding , fishing, gold panning, mountain biking and hiking. Facilities include tennis and volleyball courts, fitness and recreation rooms, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. On the beach, canoes, row and paddle boats, sail and motor boats. We organize lumber jack competition, trap shooting, archery and fishing derbies. On warm evenings, there may be a BBQ on the lakeshore with a campfire and a singing cowboy. With our floatplane, you can experience the untamed mountain wilderness with flight seeing trips over the Bridge Glacier to drop off at a remote Alpine Lake for fishing and hiking.
