Christmas Cottage  

"The Christmas Cottage is a single bed & breakfast unit consisting of a restored summer kitchen furnished year-round in a Christmas theme. The private-entrance suite contains a Jacuzzi tub/shower bathroom with an Alaskan theme, A/C, TV with video library, queen bed, antique armoire and several rockers. The summer kitchen has a covered porch overlooking the front garden and fish pond while you sip on a beverage of your choice and home-baked cookies. Remember - you're coming to Granny and Papa's house, so you will be spoiled. The adjoining garden room has a 1950's retro theme and opens into a private fenced flower garden that includes a large stone fire pit and patio. A full country-style breakfast is offered and may be served in several locations -- the outside private garden (weather permitting), main house or kitchenette. Located in Florissant Missouri, our home is listed in National Register of Historic Places as well as being a landmark preservation area in North St. Louis County. It is officially known as the ""Elisha and Lucy Patterson Farmstead Historic District"". It was built about 1850 and includes a historic barn, chicken coop and outhouse. It is located on a 2-acre plot of the original 600-acre farmstead and overlooks New Halls Ferry Road. "
