Located in Historic Virginia City, Nevada at 416 South B Street. A former guest wrote, "The views of the canyon and the sunrises were terrific! Our only regret is that we have to leave." Enjoy the Virginia City of the 1860's and enhance your visit by staying in period accommodations at Virginia City's finest Country Inn. Edith Palmer's Country Inn was established in a Victorian home built in 1863. Originally, the Inn was a residence and the rock building to the rear was used as a cider factory. Edith Palmer, a renowned cook and innkeeper, started the Inn after she bought the property in 1948. In the year 2000 , current owners Pat and Leisa Findley began reconstructing and rejuvenating the Inn. Now that is finished, the Inn along with the rock room called, appropriately, the Cider Factory are joined by the two adjacent Victorian Houses to complete the property. Edith Palmer's Country Inn is an award winning Bed & Breakfast/Inn that has been recognized as being one of the very best in the United States. |
