"Bibi's Garden is a large Victorian house, built in 1903, with original stained glass, stairways, moldings, and two inviting porches overlooking a beautiful flower garden. Located in a historic residential area in Brooklyn and shaded by nature, this bed and breakfast is very quiet and peaceful. It's country living in the city of New York. Bibi's Garden is close to public transportation and plenty of parking in the street and features all the conveniences of home. You can enjoy all the excitement of New York City, as you will be just 20 minutes away from downtown Manhattan and three short blocks to the subway, where the "Q" train ferries. The home has eight bedrooms, each decorated with antiques and country style: living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Amenities include air conditioning, cable television, VCR, and a telephone line for local calls and for laptops. Before you start the day, enjoy a self-served extended continental breakfast with healthy organic foods or a delicious home-cooked breakfast and fresh roasted gourmet coffee. Nearby attractions include Prospect Park and the zoo, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and Park Slope with nice restaurants, antique shops, movie theaters, libraries, and bookstores. (You can also get a nice view of the Big Apple's skyline.) Sheepshead Bay, where you can get a boat ride to the Statue of Liberty or go fishing, offers lots of restaurants along the waterfront and piers. Nearby King's Plaza Mall provides a full day of indoor shopping. Coney Island has several attractions, such as the beach, aquarium, and theme park, and of course, there is always the new Keyspan baseball stadium where the "Brooklyn Cyclone" plays."
