The 200 year old homestead blends Federal and Greek revival architecture. The Wagener Estate is located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region and New York wine country. We are directly on the Keuka Lake wine trail and within 4 miles of Seneca Lake and its countless wineries. Our estate is close to Keuka College and centrally located between New York City and Niagara Falls. For those travelers wishing to fly in we are within an easy drive of Rochester International, Syracuse, and Elmira-Corning Regional airports. Guests driving to our estate will be treated to awesome Finger Lakes views and beautiful rural landscapes. During your stay relax in a hammock under our majestic white pines, read a book on our shaded veranda, or rest in an Adirondack chair in our small orchard which includes The Wagener Apple trees developed over 200 years ago by Abraham Wagener, the founder of Penn Yan. Beyond enjoying the natural pristine beauty of the Finger Lakes other activities and attractions include shopping, wine tasting, hiking, biking, golf, all seasons lake activities, antiquing, and unique dining experiences. The area abounds with farmers markets and a wide variety of Amish shops. Wagener Estate is directly across from the Keuka Outlet hiking trail and within walking distance to public lakeside parks, swimming beaches , and downtown shops.
