"Tea Room & Gift Shop - Tea Room Events hare with us, a time long past. In the spirit of Queen Victoria, experience royalty at our home with a serene respite or a delightful "Queen's Tea." My childhood dream of restoring this 1881 Victorian Italianate farmhouse is truly a fairy tale I would love to share with you. Our home and guestrooms are filled with antiques and family heirloom photos. The veranda offers a view of the countryside overlooking bountiful gardens and a waterfall cascading into a pond. Our area is blessed with an abundance of Nature's finest culinary delicacies, creating a royal treat for our family-style breakfasts and properly-served teas. Your stay is complete with a soak in our private two-person hot tub, located in a quaint log cabin beside the house. A stay at Olde World Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful gift! AAA Approved/Discounts AAA 3-Diamond Rated Old World Bed and Breakfast has been featured in Ohio Magazine, Country Discovers, AAA Home & Away, Columbus Dispatch and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Our Tearoom was featured in the Canton Repository and is a suggested stop by Saimi Rote Bergmann, the Repository Food Editor. In 1993, my family purchased and restored the Stauffer Family Farmhouse, which was built in 1881. Outside, the overgrowth was overwhelming and the interior seemed beyond repair. With the help of an Amish construction crew, we worked morning until night for over 10 months, to restore the Stauffer home to its original grandeur. The walnut staircase, four panel doors with ornamental hinges, and some hardwood floors survived the years, and were restored to their initial beauty. We put our heart and soul into the restoration and have made many changes since our Grand Opening in June 1993. This challenging project was the beginning of a childhood dream - a dream that many of you have helped come true! We would love to share the fairy tale with you.
