"What could be better than spending some time in a wonderful town that smells like Chocolate!!! Thanks to Wilbur Chocolate, located just 2 blocks south of our B&B, you will literally float through this adorable town on a chocolate scented journey! Historic Lititz, founded in 1756, is in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country and is the home of Sturgis Pretzel Company, the country¡¯s first pretzel bakery, and the Wilbur Chocolate Museum and Factory Store. Lititz also has many other wonderful gift shops, restaurants, tea and coffee houses, consignment stores and many other unique shops to explore. Our B&B is centrally located in beautiful downtown Lititz, PA, just 3 blocks north of Main Street. This beautiful old home was built in 1904 and has the original, stunning chestnut woodwork and pocket doors that were common in the turn of the century homes. The first floor was completed redecorated and furnished with Scandanavian teak, glass and leather furniture and beautiful area rugs. Outside, we've landscaped the entire property and added a privacy fence and more plants and bushes. We just recently added the new porch railings and finished the back decks. The lovely fountain we found half hidden under the porch has become a real showcase piece and is now featured prominently in our garden, next to a wonderfully peaceful garden swing. Guests have their own private entrance and off-street parking. A lovely sitting room on the second floor provides a cozy place to read, watch cable TV or movies, access the Internet, play games or just get acquainted with other guests. Early morning coffee and tea are available in the sitting room followed by a full elegant gourmet breakfast, served by Pat, a former caterer and gourmet cook. In the early evening, wine or refreshments and hors d'oeuvres are available for your pleasure. And of course, there are always cookies and lemonade available! We have many special packages including Mid-week specials, Romantic or Wedding Packages, outstanding Dinner Packages or even dinner with an Amish Family! We're sure you will find one of our packages to suit you. We can also accommodate just about any special request - please just ask! Special events can also be catered for small family gatherings.
