Hiestand House is an elegant High Queen Anne style Victorian home conveniently located in the Historic, Lancaster County, Rivertowne of Marietta along the Susquehanna River. From this location it is a short trip to Hershey, Historic Lancaster City, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster Wineries, Outlets, the Historic Rivertownes of Marietta, Columbia and Wrightsville, and many other local attractions and sights. The gracious Inn was designed by local architect C. Emlen Urban, and built in 1887 as the home of B. Frank Hiestand, a well known lumber mill owner of his time, and his family. Three generations of Hiestand's lived in and lovingly cared for the home over a period of 102 years. The house is on the Historic Registry of homes.
