Cedars on the Brazos is a unique log, two story bed and breakfast that features massive log beams and towering vaulted ceilings. There is a magnificent twenty-four foot native stone fireplace in the great room. The game room features a library filled with books on local history, native plants and wildlife, rock and Indian lore. Books on stargazing and a telescope are available for searching the heavens. Each bedroom suite has its own private bath and sitting area. The covered wraparound porches and decks offer outdoor relaxing while enjoying breathtaking views. The wooded acres surrounding Cedars on the Brazos are a perfect haven for the abundant wildlife: white tailed deer, wild turkey, fox, rabbits, armadillo and of course a bird watchers paradise! Listen to the evening sounds as the great horned owls signal to each other, the whip-o-wills and in the distance the yelping of the coyotes. A scrumptious gourmet breakfast is served in the dining room. Afternoon refreshments are offered on the deck overlooking the Brazos. Relax with an evening dessert buffet to fill any missed calories for the day.
