K illahevlin is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register and is situated on a Civil War encampment site where two of Mosby's Rangers were hanged. The inn has been professionally restored and exquisitely designed - complete with interesting antiques, working fireplaces, private bathrooms (most with whirlpool tubs) and fluffy towels, comfy queen size beds (some are four poster), and wonderful mountain views. The Irish influence can be spotted throughout the house with stained glass transom windows, reproduction wallpaper from 19th century Ireland and, of course, the private Irish Pub for guests offering complimentry Irish draft beer on tap, wine, soft drinks and snacks.
