There is biking and fine dining, and for those who like to hike, fish or bird watch, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Skyline Drive, and Shenandoah River are nearby. Driving Directions: The Grey Horse Inn is located right off Interstate 66 in The Plains, VA. Take exit 31, Rt. 245 and head north towards The Plains. The Inn is located on the left about 1/2 mile from I 66.

Local Area Attractions: The Grey Horse Inn is a quiet retreat, yet convenient to all local area events, vineyard tours, and Civil War sites, as well as fine shops and dining. Reservations are recommended for event weekends

Onsite Activities: Located in a quaint village setting, the inn is surrounded by old plantings and a large garden. Beyond the garden is open pasture, views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and vivid sunsets filling the western sky.
