The Queen of the Valley Inn (formerly the Rainbow Inn Bed and Breakfast) is a 3-story ""American Foursquare"" style farmhouse located approximately one and one half hours north of Seattle, Washington and two hours south of Vancouver, British Columbia, just outside the historic waterfront village of La Conner. The Queen has been completely renovated in 2004-2005 by the Davis family , the new owners who have made it their mission to create a warm, welcoming, yet elegant environment which combines the luxuries of a fine hotel with the personal attention of the finest bed and breakfasts. The Craftsman-style interior of the Inn has been lovingly restored, preserving the original charm while providing the most modern amenities. Eclectic furnishings call to mind historic ports-of-call with a British Colonial flair, designed for the discerning traveler. Enjoy a four-course, gourmet breakfast served restaurant-style on our sunny breakfast porch, then explore some of the area's attractions such as the many museums, galleries, antique stores and gift shops in downtown La Conner, less than a mile away. Most rooms offer beautiful views of the Skagit Valley, world-famous for its spectacular displays of flowers (daffodils, tulips, irises) in the spring.
