Eagle Centre House B&B  

"Eagle Centre House Bed and Breakfast is an authentic replica of an 1846 Greek Revival style stagecoach inn, situated in the scenic Southern Kettle Moraine. We offer comfortable B&B lodging in Eagle near Old World Wisconsin and Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest. From the front parlor to third floor bedrooms , you will enjoy the splendid collection of carefully assembled period antiques. For pure relaxing pleasure, two second floor chambers feature double whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. All five spacious guest chambers have a private adjoining bath. Breakfast in the dining room is another journey into the past. A full breakfast is served on "Tea-Leaf" Ironstone china (c. 1851-1900). Take your time...eat hearty. It will be a memorable experience. Double Whirlpool Guest Chamber Our History and Architecture In the mid-1800's, because of the sighting of an eagle in this vicinity, the village that is now called Eagle, Wisconsin, was platted as Eagle Centre. At that time a "house" was an inn offering food and shelter to weary travelers. The architectural design was simple, yet elegant, in the classic Greek Revival style. Compared to the primitive log buildings of the surrounding communities, these buildings were outstanding. They also served as the centers of the community social and political life. We combined these elements to name our bed and breakfast Eagle Centre House. The building faithfully replicates the architecture of the early inns (Forgivably, we've added central heat, air conditioning, and indoor plumbing). To this day, however, the two wood-burning stoves in the common rooms add warmth throughout the winter season. Take time out to move back in time. Cancellation Policy: Ten days

Breakfast: A full breakfast including a hot entree, fruit, pastry and juice. Coffee, milk or tea also available. Breakfast is served in the dining room on antique china illuminated by candlelight. Vegetarians accommodated.
