"THE K3 GUEST RANCH BED & BREAKFAST(More than a Bed and Breakfast - A relaxing ranch experience!) Welcome to K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast in Cody, Wyoming! Enjoy your trip to Yellowstone Country to the fullest with a stay at the K3, located just outside of Buffalo Bill's Old West town of Cody, Wyoming. The K3 Guest Ranch Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place for a real Western-style vacation, quiet weekend getaway, wedding, family reunion, business retreat, or as a base camp for exploring the stunning Yellowstone region. In the Chuckwagon and Rocky Mountain suites, guests can dream of life on the Western trail in comfy queen-sized beds made up in a vintage chuck wagon or hay wagon. The cowboy and Indian motif continues in the cozy Teton Room with its decorative pole fence framing a mural of the Grand Teton mountains. Hand stitched quilts cover the queen sized beds. The view out the picture windows is unsurpassed. After a sound night's sleep, enjoy breakfast prepared over an open fire in the true Western way. The "cowboy breakfast" at K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast features "squeezed pig and flattened chicken" (sausage and eggs), "Sheepherder spuds", buttermilk or sourdough pancakes and syrup, and fruit. There are more yummy choices along with real loose brewed coffee, just like the old time trail cooks used to make! Breakfast is served outside on the patio (weather permitting) or in the dining room with its view of the morning sun on the fields and mountains. K3 guests are invited to gather in the second floor Great Room for conversation, or outside on the teepee-sheltered patio to watch the sunset, sit by the crackling fire or maybe see a double rainbow as an afternoon shower goes rumbling by. All the rooms at K3 Ranch have large picture windows overlooking the 33 acres of hayfields in the valley and on to the snowcapped peaks of the Absaroka Range of the mighty Rocky Mountains. There's plenty to do at the K3: miles of hiking, mountain bike or ATV trails nearby to explore. Wet your line for native Cutthroat and Brown Trout. If you bring your own horse, we have clean corrals, good water and plenty of feed. Buffalo Bill's own town, Cody, Wyoming offers a complete array of vacation activities and tours. The world famous "Smithsonian of the West" (Buffalo Bill Historical Center) is a quick drive from the K3 Guest Ranch. Sheridan Avenue in downtown Cody is lined with Western art galleries, great shopping, and dining to suit any palate. For real Western excitement, don't miss the Cody Nite Rodeo in June, July and August. There's fun for adults and kids alike at "The Rodeo Capital of the World." Of course, the big attractions for visitors from all over the world are Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Make K3 Guest Ranch your base camp while you visit Old Faithful, Yellowstone Falls, the mudpots and other thermal features, Yellowstone's wolves and the last truly wild herd of buffalo in North America. Check-in time at K3 Guest Ranch Bed and Breakfast is after 1 p.m., breakfast is served at 8 a.m. and check-out is by 10 a.m. All areas inside the K3 lodge are smoke free. Smoking is allowed outside. Pets are welcome at K3 Guest Ranch, but must be leashed and confined at night. K3 Guest Ranch has a lovely fenced lawn and garden area where children can play. Our beautiful creek and surrounding areas are not fenced, however. Parents must closely supervise their children in these areas. Stay at K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast on your trip to Yellowstone Country and you will take home fond memories of the great American West. Jerry and Bette Kinkade look forward to your visit.
