A charming bed & breakfast, located in the famous Newport Mansion & Cliff Walk district. Bailey's beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Downtown a 4 minute drive. 1 Murray House Bed & Breakfast has been voted "one of the best bed & breakfasts on the eastern seaboard" by Arrington's Bed & Breakfast Journal. Murray House has lovely guest rooms/efficiency, with queen size beds, private baths and best of all, private outside entrances to each room. You can have your personally served gourmet breakfast in your room or on your private patio area. For your convenience, your room has a TV, VCR, A/C and fans. There is a small refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and toaster. You never have to leave it. The second level guest room has a panoramic view of Almy Pond and a distant ocean view. There are lovely flower gardens surrounding the inground pool and hottub. You are a short (5 mins) walk to a lovely beach and the Newport Mansions are just around the corner. Well trained pets and children welcome. You'll like it here. |
