This charming 1854 Victorian provides a restful retreat in the heart of Newport's bustling waterfront district. Period antiques decorate the rooms, each of which has either an antique brass or hand-carved wood bed. Two rooms have private decks with harbor views. Its namesake, Admiral Fitzroy, commanded the Beagle, whose most famous passenger was Charles Darwin. |
