Black Duck Inn is situated in the heart of downtown Newport, just footsteps away from harborfront shops and restaurants and a leisurely stroll to the fabulous Newport mansions and museums.

Each guestroom is distinctively decorated in the romantic Laura Ashley tradition, creating a warm, yet casually elegant atmosphere. Six rooms, each with a private bath have queen beds topped with a colorful comforter. For families or couples traveling together, there is a two-bedroom, one-bath suite.

Driving Directions: From Points South: Route 95 North to Exit 3A, Route 138 East. Follow blue Newport Bridge signs over Jamestown Bridge, then Newport Bridge ($2.00 toll). Take Exit 1 off Newport Bridge, turn right off exit ramp. Continue straight through two sets of traffic lights. At next set of traffic lights, turn left (past Banana Republic on your right) up hill, continue past Viking Hotel on right. Turn right onto Pelham St. (after park on right). Go past first intersection (Spring St.) down hill. Inn is on left. Park behind inn. From Points North: Route 95 South to Route 195 East (in Providence) to Route 24 South (through Fall River, MA) to Route 114 South. 114 becomes Broadway in Newport. Approximately one mile past Newport city line, look for Hotel Viking sign on left. Turn left here (Ayrault St.) then right at stop sign onto Kay St. At traffic light, turn left onto Bellevue Avenue, then right onto Pelham St. (after park on right). Go past first intersection (Spring St.) down hill. Inn is on left. Park behind inn.
