On a quiet street in the historic Montford district of Asheville North Carolina, the Carolina Bed & Breakfast is your home away from home. Whether you choose a pleasant stroll to town to visit one of the many award winning restaurants or shops, visit the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, or spend a day at the Biltmore Estate, you will find yourself happy to return to this cozy, historic house. In the winter a cheery fire will greet you in the sitting room, in the summer a cool drink and refreshments will await you on either of the two porches where you may sit and enjoy a gentle evening breeze in the gardens. Built in 1901 by Richard Sharp Smith, supervising architect of the Biltmore, the spacious Arts & Craft style rooms showcase the art and antiques which the owners have collected from around the world. Your visit will be enhanced by the small touches which make all the difference: a plate of fresh cookies in your room, nibbles by the fireplace, and personalized service. Spacious bedrooms offer luxurious linens, air-conditioning, flat-screen television, and fireplaces. Wireless internet is provided. Each room has a private bath, many with whirlpool or Jacuzzi tubs. Also available is a private cottage with king bed, day bed, small kitchenette, two-person whirlpool tub and fireplace. Breakfast is a meal that is bountiful, creative and delicious.
