Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa 1910. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation. The additional open common areas add to the spacious, warm & convenient experience.

Reserve a Suite: each of the four Suites has two spacious & family friendly rooms, a private full bath, hairdryer, soaps & shampoos, coffee maker, cable TV & cozy sitting & breakfast nook, some with mini-fridge, microwave & private deck. Or, reserve The Whole Cottage(excepting the Inn Keeper's Apartment). With a capacity for up to 20 guests, the Cottage is perfect for family & friend gatherings, wedding groups & small retreat style meetings. Large common areas provide additional indoor & outdoor guest space, as well as added conveniences, including a full amenity kitchen & guest-use laundry room.

Breakfast: Full breakfast available each morning in the dining area as well as a continental breakfast available for longer hours & variety to the daily menu.

Driving Directions: From I-40 heading East or West, exit #50 (see signs to The Biltmore Estate at this exit). Head north on Hendersonville Road, which will soon change names & become Biltmore Avenue. STAY IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE TILL YOU HAVE PASSED THE MCDONALDS ON YOUR LEFT. Proceed about 1 more mile, staying on Biltmore Avenue North, towards DownTown Asheville. Get into the left hand lane & turn left onto Victoria Road at a traffic light. You will also see signs to AB Tech and Mission Memorial Campus. Proceed about 1/2 mile on Victoria Road. Turn left onto Oakland Road. Go about 200 yards. Oakland Cottage will be on your right - white sign in yard says "74 Oakland Cottage", pull into the white pebbled drive. Park in front or to the side & back of the house.
