Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street in the historic Montford district of Asheville, A Bed of Roses was built at the end of the Victorian era by Oliver Davis Revell and meticulously renovated in 2002. A Bed of Roses is located only five blocks from Asheville’s vibrant downtown and only a ten minute drive to Biltmore Estate. Enjoy the comfort of our tastefully decorated 1897 Queen Anne house with its shaded porch and tended gardens. Many of our guest rooms have fireplaces and private baths including Jacuzzi-style tubs. |

Driving
Directions: From Atlanta: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. I-85 North to I-26 West to I-240 East to Asheville.
From Charlotte: Approximately 2 hours. I-77 to I-40 West to I-240 West to Asheville.
From Tennessee: Approximately 1 hour from North Carolina Welcome Center. I-40 East to I-240 East to Asheville.
Locally: From I-240 take exit 4C, then turn right at the top of the ramp and proceed north on Montford Avenue. Turn right on Chestnut Street and left on Cumberland Avenue to 135 Cumberland. It is the second house on the right. |
