The Agave B&B is in Via Cluverio, in one of the most highly-renowned areas of the city centre, Politeama. The B&B is right behind the Teatro Massimo, and right beside Porta Carini, one of the oldest gates in the city, leading to the popular Capo market The Agave B&B is in an apartment on the raised floor of an elegant early Twentieth-Century building in a cool tree-lined street, adjacent to Villa Filippina, in one of the greenest areas in the centre of Palermo The recently-restructured apartment maintains all its original structural characteristics, with high vaulted roofing and thick walls which ensure the building is always quiet, plus nice and cool in summer and warm in winter.The rooms are large and comfortable and are set up in a Mediterranean style, starting with the colours of the flooring. They are furnished Sicilian-style, with wrought iron and wood. From the B&B, on foot, it is easy to get to all the most important tourist attractions: the Teatro Massimo, Via Maqueda, the Teatro Politeama, Piazza Pretoria, the four historic markets (Il Capo, A vucciria, Ballarò and Borgo Vecchio), the Quattro Canti street corners, the Cathedral and the old Kassaro. You can walk around all the old streets in the old city with no problems at all. The idea for the bed and breakfast originate from our passion for Sicily and for Palermo and the sense of hospitality which marks out our culture. Siamo alle spalle del Teatro Massimo, e vicinissimi a Porta Carini, una delle più antiche della città che introduce al popolare mercato del Capo.
Ci troviamo in un appartamento al piano rialzato di un elegante palazzo dei primi del novecento, in una via fresca ed alberata adiacente alla Villa Filippina, uno degli spazi verdi che caratterizzano la zona. L'appartamento ristrutturato mantiene le caratteristiche originarie, con i tetti alti e a volte, e le mura spesse che garantiscono oltre ad un ambiente silenzioso un piacevole fresco d'estate e caldo d'inverno.
Le stanze sono ampie e confortevoli di stile mediterraneo, a partire dai colori della pavimentazione, e arredate alla maniera siciliana, con ferro battuto e legno.
Dal B&B si raggiungono facilmente a piedi le mete più importanti di ogni visitatore: il Teatro Massimo, la via Maqueda, il Teatro Politeama, Piazza Pretoria, i quattro mercati storici (Il Capo, A' vucciria, Ballarò, Borgo vecchio), i Quattro Canti, La Cattedrale, l'antico Kassaro, ed è possibile percorrere con facilità tutte le antiche vie del centro storico.
