Trade Winds Bed and Breakfast  

We are located in the center of the city and easily accessible by car, train, bus or plane. Trade Winds Bed and Breakfast is housed in a historically certified building that is over 200 years old. It is furnished with art and antiques from around the world. Stroll the many cobblestone streets and alleys or enjoy shopping for antiques, art, crafts, handmade goods and unique gifts. You are within easy walking distance to the Convention Center, Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, hospitals, theater, Kimmel Center, Academy of Music, University of the Arts, etc. The Philadelphia Museum of Art and University of Pennsylvania are just a short bus ride away. There are many fine restaurants and shops in the immediate area to suit all tastes and budgets.

All rooms are beautifully furnished with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. We can accommodate your needs, whether you are one person or a group of up to eight people. Three rooms are offered for your consideration. All rooms have coffee makers, small refrigerators, cable television, telephone, and individual air-conditioning. Breakfast food is supplied in the room.

Your hostess, Marjorie Amrom, has been welcoming Bed and Breakfast guests for over 25 years. She is an interior designer and a world traveler. As a life long resident of the area she is well versed in all aspects of the city. Marjorie will be delighted to act as your “personal concierge” and will do everything possible to make sure that your visit is comfortable and memorable. If you have special requests or needs, please let her know. Space is limited, so please book your reservations as far in advance as possible. Of course, last minute requests are also welcome!
