The Knowles House is refreshingly different from other Key West Guesthouses, this charming, restored, and elegantly furnished, mid-1800s conch house centrally located in a handsome residential historic district of Key West is only five blocks from Duval Street. Staying at our guesthouse is more like staying in a friend's home than in a commercial guest house.

Breakfast:

Driving Directions: Leave the Miami Airport and proceed a short distance south on LeJeune Road to the Dolphin Expressway (Hwy 836). Take the Dolphin Expressway (Hwy 836) west to the Florida Turnpike (It is a toll road). Go south on the Florida Turnpike to where it ends in Florida City. From Florida City, take US 1 (it is the only road to the Keys) south to the island of Key West. From Florida City it is about a 3 hour drive. When you reach Key West, turn right and continue on US 1, also called North Roosevelt Blvd, about 2 miles until you pass the "Overseas Market Place" shopping center (it will be on your left). After you pass the shopping center, get in the right hand lane so you can turn right on Palm Avenue about a mile further along. Turn right on Palm Avenue and proceed toward Old Town. After you pass the entrance to "Trumbo Point Navy Base", Palm Avenue bends sharply and you come to a traffic light. At that point the name changes to Eaton Street. Proceed through the traffic light about 1-3/4 blocks to Knowles House, on the left, just before you get to the next traffic light. Park in the brick driveway to the right of the house.
