Schiro's Balcony Guest House, above Schiro's Grocery and Café, is conveniently located in the historic, alluring and relaxed (Creole) Faubourg Marigny. Visitors are 6 blocks down river from the French Quarter, the heart of old New Orleans.
Schiro's has been a part of the Marigny fabric since the turn of the century. From its beginnings over 100 years ago, it has evolved into something for everyone in the neighborhood. The grocery now includes a full service restaurant and a quiet bar that is a popular gathering place for our own New Orleans' blend of artists, musicians and, let's just say, "personalities". Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, the café offers authentic New Orleans comfort food and "knock-your-socks-off" cocktails.

Elegant in its simplicity, it features 4 comfortable guestrooms and the Master Suite with a New Orleans Creole/Caribé feel. Guestrooms include: queen-size beds, private bathrooms w/shower, armoires, ceiling fans, guest-controlled air conditioning, cable televisions, direct-dial cordless telephones, and CD/radio/alarm clocks. Guestrooms 1 and 3 feature 12-foot ceilings and direct access to the namesake wrap-around balcony. The Master Suite includes a comfortable separate living room with microwave oven and queen-sleeper sofa and a bedroom with a queen-size bed.
