Once upon a Tyne is a one-stop-shop to a great holiday experience. We offer package holiday deals incorporating adrenalin-inducing coastal sports, set in modern accommodation, in the traditional seaside resort of South Shields. Be it surfing, scuba diving, powerkiting or rock climbing - we will give you a holiday you can write home about!

Coastal sports courses are carried out by experienced, qualified instructors and are aimed at beginners through to more experienced adventurers. Holidays include accommodation, breakfast, transfers to your chosen sport and all equipment.

The accommodation is within our very own hotel in North East England in the heart of South Shields. This is not your typical Bed & Breakfast (B&B)! Located within an historic Georgian house, the hotel offers some unique facilities for the total enjoyment of guests including a guest lounge room complete with pool table, cable TV and internet access, a separate dining room and a private jacuzzi bath that can be booked in advance. And coming soon - an in-house bar!
