"Bold Point Farmstay is on the North-East side of Quadra Island, east of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Nearby, rolling forests, ocean coastlines and lakes make for years of eco adventures. Magnificent marine scenery with views of snow capped mountains, miles of beaches and forest trails. Guests have arrived via B.C. Ferries, West Jet, Alaska Airlines and Helijet; kayak, sail or power boat, bicycle, even hitch hiking! Our 10 acre / 4.5 hectare farm includes 100 year old forest and pastures. One acre / 1/2 hectare of extensive organic garden plots continue to produce vegetables and flowers year round. Our lamb and sheep trim the lawns. The chickens scratch about on insect control. A stream and pond are home to ducks and wild birds. Eagles, ravens, humming birds are seasonal residents; dozens of other migratory bird species pass overhead. On Vancouver Island, Sooke Harbour House, Hastings House, The Aerie have achieved 4 and 5 star standard for setting and amenities. Bold Point Farmstay though smaller in scale is huge in Passions!
