Relax in the warmth and tranquility of our romantic 1930s character home. Cheltenham House is situated on extensive grounds, just 200 metres from the thermal pools, forest walks, restaurants and shops in this picturesque alpine resort. We renovated this gracious home with our guests’ comfort paramount & every need anticipated.
There are four spacious, sunny suites in the house and two cottages situated in the garden. All are centrally heated and provide our guests with comfortable seating and dining areas, quality bedding, fridge, television, DVD & CD player and tea & coffee making facilities. An open fire enhances the atmosphere in the billiard room, where we share a local wine with our guests, before they stroll down to one of Hanmer’s many fine restaurants.
In the morning, awake to a gourmet cooked breakfast in the privacy of your own suite. Free wireless internet, DVD library and garden hot tub.

Driving Directions: Follow Highway 7 until Hanmer turnoff east of the Lewis Pass start. Travel 9kms into village. Turn right off the tree lined Amuri Avenue on to Cheltenham Street. We are third property on the right.
