Lily Creek Lodge, a thirteen guestroom, European Chalet style bed & breakfast, is nestled in the middle of seven forested acres in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, only 60 miles from downtown Atlanta, 12 miles to Dawsonville, Ga and the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall and 4 miles from the downtown Historic Square of Dahlonega, GA AAA Three Diamond-rated Bed and Breakfast, owned and operated by innkeepers, Don and Sharon Bacek, offers country inn lodging at an eclectic mountain retreat with quiet nooks for romance and relaxation. There's also a swimming pool with waterfall, an outdoor hot tub and bocci court. An arched stone fireplace in the Lodge's Art Nouveau Great room offers a welcoming haven to rest and enjoy a blazing fire while sipping a cup of hot cocoa or cider. Guests are invited to read, play games, or visit with other guests. There is also a swimming pool with a rushing waterfall, an outdoor hot tub in the pavillion, a swing in the woods, a bocce court, and a treehouse. Each of the uniquely furnished accommodations depicts a geographical or period theme. Fine antiques, collectibles, and artwork, coupled with high-quality linens, down comforters, and feather pillows yield an ambience of rustic elegance you are sure to enjoy. Thirteen guest rooms are available, each with its own private bath. Five of the rooms are actually two-room suites, and three of the suites have kitchen facilities for your convenience and wireless Internet. The Lily Creek Lodge serves a full gourmet breakfast on the outdoor deck, in the hillside gazebo, or in the formal French dining room. For something different, you may want to try "Breakfast in the Trees" up in the tree house and view the surrounding mountains. The Lily Creek Lodge is a year-round retreat with each change of the seasons providing its own special magic. In Spring, the delicate pinks of wild honeysuckle and the brilliant orange blossoms of the flame azalea accentuate the white flowering dogwood. In Summer, the fruit is ripe, and lush greens and delightfully cool evenings provide guests with a respite for life's cares. Fall brings nature's palette to life when the leaves change and the mountains are painted in spectacular reds, yellows, and oranges. Winter opens new vistas as the hardwoods shed their leaves. This is the ideal time to observe the native wildlife and enjoy the breathtaking views. Regardless of when you visit, the Baceks know your stay will be an enjoyable one; they look forward to meeting you soon. |
