The house is well know for having the nationally-known columnist Juliet V. Strauss as one of the owners. Her common-sense, down-to-earth observations on life were published in the Indianapolis News and later in the Ladies Home Journal under the column "The Ideas of a Plain Country Woman." Some of their overnight guests included Woodrow Wilson, Annie Oakley, John Lewis and Indiana's famous James Whitcomb Riley. Mrs. Strauss also played a key role in the development of Turkey Run State Park.
We have 4 large bedrooms,ALL rooms with private baths, decorated in period antiques. All rooms are furnished with a TV and VCR or DVD Player.
