Driving Directions: Located 75 miles south of Des Moines. From Hwy 35 take Hwy 2 east about 30 miles to county road S26 (green sign directs to Allerton). Turn south and drive for 3 miles. The inn is located on the west (right) side of the street one block after crossing the railroad tracks.

Local Area Attractions: Historic Round Barn Site (1 mile). Prairie Trails Museum (6 miles). Bobwhite State Park (2 miles). Log Chain Apiary (next door). Carnegie Library (6 miles). Local hunting and fishing opportunities.

Onsite Activities: Relax on the antique white wicker porch swing. Enjoy peace and quiet in a rural Iowa town.
