Local Area
Attractions: In Bath, explore the Maine Maritime Museum and see why Bath is The City of Ships. You can also take in a performance at the Chocolate Church Arts Center or sit in Library Park for a concert at the gazebo. Peruse the shops and restaurants in the quaint downtown area. A short 10 minute drive brings you to either Popham Beach or Reid State Parks and a day at the ocean. Driving a little further north to explore the towns on Route 1 antiquing in Wiscassett or exploring the tourist spots of Boothbay Harbor. Return at the end of the day to Bath for a quiet stroll along the Kennebec River and a nightcap in town. |
