McKinley House Bed and Breakfast  

The McKinley House is a newly renovated turn of the century home in a lovely residential area of Easthampton, Massachusetts. Only a short stroll to the Williston-Northampton School, McKinley House is located three miles from downtown Northampton, the cultural mecca of western Massachusetts. Renowned for its restaurants, shops and art galleries, Northampton is also home to Smith College, the nation's largest women's college. The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mount Holyoke and Hampshire Colleges, as well as the Deerfield Academy are all only a short drive from the McKinley House as are the Volleyball and Basketball Halls of Fame and Historic Deerfield.

Nearby you'll find skiing, canoeing, hiking, and antiquing destinations as well as easy access to the Berkshires and its many splendors. Bicycle enthusiasts will enjoy the Norwottuck and Northampton bicycle trails that extend across the Pioneer Valley from Florence to Belchertown. Urbanites will enjoy the area's fine art museums, superb restaurants, and extensive entertainment choices. From live music to the latest foreign films, the area is alive with culture and sophistication. After a day full of fun and excitement, guests at McKinley House can unwind in front of a roaring fire in the Parlor, or watch the stars come out from the front porch, catch fireflies in the garden, or simply soak in a relaxing bubble bath for two. A television and VCR are available in the living room, or guests can watch television in their own room. McKinley House guests can chose a formal breakfast in our spacious dining room or a more cozy and intimate breakfast for two in our sun room. On warm mornings, guests may enjoy breakfast "al fresco" on the patio. Whatever the choice, our guests are assured of a fresh seasonal breakfast as part of their all-inclusive rate. Some of the house specialties include banana walnut wafflles, asparagus and roasted red pepper frittata, and baked blueberry-pecan french toast.
