The land that the Bluff Creek Bed & Breakfast sits on was deeded to Captain Luther Clark for service in the War of 1812. The deed for the property, signed by President Lincoln, is on display in the parlor. Joseph Vogel and Veronica Kessler were married on July 15th, 1854 - the first officially recorded marriage in Carver County. In 1860, Joseph and Veronica built this home in the shadow of the nearby bluffs. The home is made of beautiful, yellow, historic Chaska bricks. The front porches beckon you to sit and enjoy your stay. |
