The Meredith Inn  

Welcome to our 8 bedroom Bed & Breakfast opened in the Summer of 1997. It started its life 100 years ago as a Victorian dwelling on Main Street in historic Meredith, NH. The Meredith Inn is a pleasant stroll from the town's busy artisans' shops and interesting restaurants for all tastes. It is also handy to both Lakes Winnipesaukee and Waukewan. These large, pristine lakes offer a complete range of aquatic activities and summer events, including festivals, theatre, craft shows, and the year-round beauty of the Gateway to the White Mountains.

Before her restoration, this maiden modestly veiled her charms beneath a coat of gray paint and unreliable utilities. But beneath the surface, she had a strong character and interesting architecture. Eleven months and a substantial number of skilled tradesmen transformed her into the Meredith Inn, a "Painted Lady" of considerable charm and elegance.
