The Claddagh, which is listed on the National Register of Historic places, has been welcoming visitors to Hendersonville for more than a hundred years. It is located downtown on Main Street putting it within convenient walking distance of shops, galleries and restaurants. In addition, Main Street hosts festivals, street dances and concerts all for the enjoyment of our guests. Parades at Christmas, the Apple Festival and Homecoming pass directly in front of our spacious front porch.

The Claddagh has sixteen rooms, all with private baths. Each room has a phone, TV, air conditioning and wireless internet access. Some rooms have clawfoot tubs and three have fireplaces. We have rooms with twin beds, queens, kings, rooms that will accommodate families and two that can be turned into a suite.

Guests awaken to a full home-cooked breakfast featuring juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, delicious baked goods, cereals and an alternating selection of hot items such as bacon, ham, or sausage, eggs, pancakes or waffles. Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8:30 to 9:30 every morning. We can make arrangements to accommodate special requests. In the late afternoon, wine and light refreshments are served in the library or the front porch.

The Claddagh Inn is an excellent launching point for short drives to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway and Chimney Rock Park. The Biltmore House and the Carl Sandburg Home are nearby. Hendersonville provides some of the finest craft and antique shops in North Carolina, exceptional dining, and excellent cultural events, such as productions at the Flat Rock Playhouse, performances at the Brevard Music Center and the year-round Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra.
