and Breakfast is ideal for gatherings of family and friends from out-of-town for weddings, reunions, funerals, or for visiting college
students and other events. Or when you come to the city for business or legal matters, for shopping, a concert, or perhaps an
Arena event or a visit to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Gift certificates are available.

The Sign of the Rose B&B is within walking distance from center-city Wilkes-Barre, Wilkes University, Kings College and only a
short driving distance from the Luzerne County Community College, the local Penn State Campus, College Misericordia, the
Wachovia Arena, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs and great shopping. We are also within easy driving distance of Scranton and
Pocono Mountain attractions.

The Bed and Breakfast occupies one side of our double block home. Because of the design of our home, we are uniquely suited
for family events. A private parlour, and dining room allows parents visiting students, wedding guests, those attending religious
events, reunions or other events, to have a comfortable and private place to visit in a home-like atmosphere. Special rates are
available for families who book the whole house.
