Log Haven Bed and Breakfast  

If you love the warm, cozy feeling of being surrounded by wood . . . come spend a few days with us at Log Haven . . . nestled among towering trees and surrounded by many acres of field & forest.

Half of our large log home is devoted to the B&B, which has a separate entrance. There’s a spacious guest “common” room with cable-TV, VCR, stereo, glider rockers, reading material, board games, jigsaw puzzles, complimentary soft drinks, coffee & tea, and a microwave for popcorn. A 12-foot-wide expanse of windows practically brings the outside indoors. And, with just two guest bedrooms (each with a full private bath), it’s never crowded in our B&B.

Guests seem to especially enjoy the peace, quiet, and privacy of Log Haven as well as Betty's homemade peanut butter fudge and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

Breakfast: Main entree is hot from the oven timed to guest's selected serving time, accompanied by fresh fruit, cold sweet bread, cereals, English muffins, home-made jams, milk, juice, coffee, tea.

Driving Directions: From Exit 110 (Somerset) of Pennsylvania Turnpike: turn right at second traffic light onto Center Avenue, proceed to center of town and turn right on Main Street (Route 31 West). Follow Route 31W out of town approxmately 6 miles, turn left on Trent Road. B&B is 3 miles from that turn on the left side of the road. Blue sign at end of driveway.

Local Area Attractions: Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Fallingwater, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Flight 93 Nationial Memorial, state park, covered bridges, antique shops, bike trail, hiking trails.
