filled with two and three-century old houses, on the first gas-lit street in America. Built in 1855, the Inn is on the National Historic Register and is framed by 27 magnificent arched windows.

The elegant Victorian B&B features 13 finely appointed guest quarters (including three suites). Driving Directions: From New York: Take Interstate 95 North to exit 3 in RI for Route 138 East. Follow blue road signs for Newport Bridge. You will go over the Jamestown Bridge and then the Newport Toll Bridge. Take the first exit off Newport Bridge. Take a right at bottom of off-ramp. At the second traffic light turn right where road forks. America's Cup Avenue begins there. America's Cup will turn left by the harbor/wharf area and turn into Memorial Boulevard at a traffic light.
